  • No. 22 Barton men’s tennis gets back on track with victory over Ottawa University

    The Barton Community College men’s tennis team snapped a two match losing streak Saturday as the No. 22 ranked Cougars defeated Ottawa University 7-2. Played at Bethel College in North Newton, Kansas, Barton won two of the three doubles matches and five of the seven singles to improve to 2-3 on the season.
  • No. 22 Cougar Tennis drops battle of ranked teams to No. 3 Seward County

    In a battle of nationally ranked Region VI foes, the No. 22 ranked Barton Community College men’s tennis team was no match for the No. 3 ranked Saints of Seward County Community College falling 8-1 Tuesday at Great Bend's Veteran's Memorial Park tennis courts. The loss dropped Barton to 1-3 on the season while Seward County stayed perfect on the year at 6-0.
  • Cougar Tennis falls in season opener to Friends University

    The Barton Community College men’s tennis team opened the 2015 season with a 7-2 loss Wednesday to Friends University. Played at the Genesis West facility in Wichita, Kansas, Barton won both the number one singles and doubles matches but couldn’t break through on any other matches. The Cougars will return the courts on Saturday traveling to Hillsboro, Kansas, taking on Tabor College in a 1:00 p.m. dual.
