The Barton County Community College baseball team saw its 8-game winning streak snapped with a doubleheader loss to Butler County Wednesday at Lawson-Biggs Field in the Cougars' West home-opener. Barton's offense, which had produced 4 double digits games during the 8-game winning streak and was averaging 10 runs a game over that same span, was shut down by the Butler pitching staff.
