Ashley Rasmussen is in her second year as Barton’s assistant athletic trainer.

Rasmussen completed the NATA’s Board of Certification requirements in August of 2018 and the requirements for Kansas State Licensure in November of 2018.

A native of Thornton, Colorado, Rasmussen graduated Cum Laude in May of 2018 from Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas, earning a Bachelor of Art degree in Athletic Training.

While at Bethany, Rasmussen was member of the women’s basketball team for two years, playing for Coach Brett Morehouse before serving as a student assistant for Coach Keith Ferguson for one year. While majoring in athletic training, Rasmussen completed clinical rotations in football, men’s and women’s basketball, women’s soccer, softball, and baseball.

Rasmussen’s primary teams of responsibility are with the women’s soccer, women’s basketball, cheer and dance, softball, and tennis programs.
