Ashley Rasmussen, a native of Thornton, CO, begins her first year as Barton’s assistant athletic trainer.

A native of Thornton, Colorado, Rasmussen graduated Cum Laude from Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas, with a Bachelor of Art degree in Athletic Training in May of 2018.

Rasmussen completed the NATA’s Board of Certification requirements in August of 2018 and completed the requirements for Kansas State Licensure in November of 2018.

While at Bethany, Rasmussen was member of the women’s basketball team for two years, playing for Coach Brett Morehouse before serving as a student assistant for Coach Keith Ferguson for one year. While majoring in athletic training, Rasmussen completed clinical rotations in football, men’s and women’s basketball, women’s soccer, softball, and baseball.
