Kelsey Feist enters her sixth year overall and third as the Head Athletic Trainer since taking over the position in January of 2023 following the retirement of long time Head Athletic Trainer Ken “Doc” Henderson.

Feist completed the NATA’s Board of Certification requirements in April of 2019 and the requirements for Kansas State Licensure in August of 2019.

A native of Hoisington, Kansas, the former Kelsey Brummer graduated Cum Laude in May of 2019 from Wichita State University, earning a Bachelor of Art degree in Athletic Training.

While at Wichita State, Feist was member of Delta Gamma Sorority, volunteered at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church and was part of the Athletic Training Student Association with completed clinical rotations in women’s basketball, baseball, and all high school sports.

Feist is married to her husband Sam and reside in Claflin, Kansas.
