Barton Volleyball picks up road sweep at Pratt.
The Barton Community College volleyball team picked up its second straight sweep of the week as the Cougars won 25-17, 25-16, and 25-10 at Pratt Community College.
Barton moves to 4-1 in conference play and 14-3 on the year while Pratt stays winless in KJCCC play at 0-5 and 2-9 overall.
The Cougars will next head to El Dorado on Wednesday for a 6:00 p.m. first serve at Butler Community College before hosting Colby Community College in a 2:00 p.m. Saturday matinee against Colby Community College.
Anna Wierzbicki led a balanced .456 Cougar season high attack with a career high .833 efficiency and punishing the court with 10 kills on 12 swings while defensively accounting for four assisted blocks.
Naya Danenberg and Phoebe Reyes each had 7 kills as Kassidy Nixon had 4 on a .571 attack to also join Wierzbicki for the team lead with 4 assisted blocks.
Elena Stankovic put up 19 assists with Maurin Reyes and Bennie Horsch adding 6 each.
Clara Lindstrom led the backline with 11 digs, Nixon adding 6, and 3 coming each from Daneberg and Horsch.
