The Barton Community College volleyball team had their season end in the first round of the Region VI playoffs as Cloud County Community College swept the sixth seeded Lady Cougars Wednesday night in Concordia 25-9, 25-20, and 25-21.   The loss winds up Barton's season at 9-24 while the third seeded Thunderbirds improve to 22-11 advancing to the region's final four being held Sunday at the Hutchinson Sports Arena.
