No. 4 Cougars' complete final tune-up sweep over Kansas Wesleyan #GoBarton

Hitting the courts one final time in the regular season, the 4th ranked Barton Community College women's tennis squad did not disappoint dismantling Kansas Wesleyan University 7-0 Tuesday afternoon in Salina, KS.

Top doubles lines, 4th ranked No. 1 duo of Annunciata De-Souza and Natsuki Nishimura together with 14th ranked No. 2 doubles Alexandra Abyasova and Malena Hernandez sealed the doubles point cruising to 6-0 victories. No. 3 doubles Angelina Gnezdilova and Hailey Vinroe capped the Barton doubles sweep grinding out a 6-3 advantage.

In singles, all six Cougars' notched straight set victories propelling the outcome to a clean 7-0 sweep over the Coyotes.

Barton's next action will be at the NJCAA Division I Championships beginning on Saturday May 1st-May 5th at the Mesa Tennis Center in Mesa, AZ.
