The Barton County Community College women's tennis team earned their first victory of the early season with a 7-0 blanking at McPherson College on Saturday.

The Cougars swept the doubles action to begin the dual then took all six singles in dominant fashion with all but one match going to a third set.

Barton's next action comes Friday in a 1:00 p.m. first serve at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas.
