Injuries plague Lady Cougar Tennis in tough two day stretch
April 05, 2015Playing three matches in two day, the ailing Barton Community College women’s tennis team had a tough stretch dropping all three matches. Beginning play Friday at the Oklahoma Tennis Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the Lady Cougars were outmatched in a pair of 9-0 losses to No. 4 ranked North Central Texas College and No. 5 ranked Seminole State College. Barton then returned to the court in North Newton, Kansas, where the Lady Cougars lost a 5-4 decision to NAIA member Ottawa University dropping Barton to 1-6 on the season. -
Lady Cougar Tennis outmatched in loss to No. 14 Seward County
March 24, 2015The shorthanded Barton Community College women’s tennis team ran across a determined Seward County Community College squad Tuesday at Great Bend's Veteran's Memorial Park tennis courts, taking an 8-1 thumping to the No. 14 ranked Lady Saints. The loss dropped Barton to 1-3 on the season while Seward County improves to 3-3.

Lady Cougar Tennis opens season with 8-1 victory
March 04, 2015The Barton Community College women’s tennis team opened the 2015 season with an 8-1 victory Wednesday over Friends University. Played at the Genesis West facility in Wichita, Kansas, Barton swept the doubles matches before going 5-1 in singles play. Barton will return the courts on Saturday traveling to Hillsboro, Kansas, taking on Tabor College in a 1:00 p.m. dual.
