Fabrizius leads Barton women's golf to day one lead in Dodge City

In what started as a beautiful day for the third KJCCC Women’s Golf Meet of the season, three holes into the afternoon Mother Nature came riding into Dodge City bringing cold and windy conditions across the Mariah Hills Golf Course. Surviving the day at the top was the Lady Cougars of Barton Community College carding a season high 381 score in holding a slim four stroke edge over host Dodge City Community College and a twenty stroke lead over Coffeyville Community College. The teams will return to the course bright and early on Friday teeing off with expected low-40s temperature and 10mph wind at 9:00 a.m. for the final nine holes of the meet.
