Lady Cougar golf wins sixth straight conference meet, seventh on season; Teeratrakul rallies keeping streak intact

The Barton Community College women’s golf team rolled to its sixth straight conference victory of the season firing a season low score cruising to a sixty-two stroke win in the final KJCCC meet of the regular season. The Lady Cougars held a thirty-six stroke lead after Sunday’s eighteen holes at Salina’s Municipal Golf course extending the lead during Monday’s final nine holes. The victory is the seventh of the season for Barton having picked up a non-conference win back in October and the eighth straight conference win dating back to last season. Barton fired a 482 for the lowest twenty-seven hole team total in Coach Doug Kaiser’s seventh season at the helm while Dodge City Community College finished second at 544.
