The Barton County Community College women’s basketball team bounced back from an opening night loss with a 100-18 win over Lincoln School of Commerce (Neb.) Saturday night at the Barton County Gym during the final day of the Pepsi Classic. Barton is now 1-1 for the season.

Highlights
Barton shot out of the gates to an early lead and never trailed in the easy win as all 12 players that played scored points in the win.
The Cougars were led by Akia Harmon with 16 points and 7 boards, followed by Star Lee with 15 on five treys. Briana Harris added 10 points and a game-high 9 rebounds for the Cougars.
