The Barton Community College softball team's 2017 season came to an end Saturday at El Dorado's East Park as the Cougars returned home after a 1-2 record in the Region VI Tournament.  Barton began play on Friday with a 10-3 win over Pratt Community College before being bounced on Saturday with a 9-5 loss to eventual runner-up Seward County Community College followed by the eliminating 8-4 defeat to Dodge City Community College.   The weekend concluded the third straight season reaching the thirty victory mark as the Cougars finished 30-16 on the year.
