The Barton Community College softball team split its conference doubleheader at Colby Community College on Saturday, winning the first game 14-4 in five innings before dropping the nightcap 8-4.  The series split leaves Barton at 7-3 in the Jayhawk and 22-7 on the season while Colby moves to 4-4 in conference play and 17-11 overall.  The Cougars' next action will come on Wednesday as No. 1 ranked Butler Community College comes to Cougar Field for a 2:00 p.m. doubleheader.
