Despite not playing for ten days due to adverse weather conditions, the Barton Community College softball team picked up where they left off in sweeping Thursday's doubleheader at Cougar Field defeating the junior varsity squad of Bethany College 10-5 and 12-4.  The victory is the eight straight for the Cougars improving to 8-2 on the season while dropping Bethany to 1-4.   Barton will next play ion Sunday at Independence Community College in a 2:00 p.m. doubleheader.
