The Barton Community College softball team will make its 2014 debut at Cougar Field on Tuesday against Brown Mackie College.  Originally scheduled to travel Tuesday, wet field conditions at Fort Scott Community College forced the cancellation of the games.  Instead, the Cougars will get a welcomed opportunity to host two games as the Lions of Brown Mackie come in for a doubleheader.  First pitch for the twinbill set for 1:00 p.m.

Barton will look to get their first victory of the season as the Cougars went 0-2 last Wednesday at Lamar Community College.  After being shutout in the opener, sophomore Ashlyn Osborne's two home runs weren't enough as the Cougars fell 8-5.
