For the second time this season Theo Leveque of the Barton Community College men's cross country team has been tabbed the KJCCC Cross Country Male Athlete of the Week.

Coming off an individual title two weeks ago at the Carol Swenson Invitational, Leveque continued his early season success producing a third-place finish in the field of 66 participants. Clocking a 26:09.68 in his inaugural collegiate 8K race, the freshman was the top KJCCC and NJCAA competitor.

Leveque and the Cougars will return to competition on October 14th at the Ollie Isom Invitational held in El Dodora, KS. Start times for the event will feature the Lady Cougars kicking things off at 5:30 p.m. with the Barton men to follow.
