Hampered with early season injuries like the women's squad, only two Barton Community College men's cross country runners were able to complete this past Saturday at Blue Dragon Invitational in Hutchinson.   Freshman and Great Bend native Chon Chavez led the Cougars finishing 44th out of ninety-four runners.  Chavez completed the 8K course in a time of 30:18.3 while sophomore Tyler Lumpkin finished in 63rd place in a time of 31.40.2.   Barton's next meet will be October 5 in the Fort Hays Tiger Invitational held in Victoria, Kansas.
