Cougar men compete at Region Championship

The Barton Community College men's cross country team competed this past weekend in the Region VI Championship in Overland Park, Kansas.  The Cougars had four runners compete finishing the course in an average time of 29:78.5 over the 8K course.

Tyler Lumpkin led the men's results with a 68th place with a time of 28:46.6.  Tayron Reyes placed 77th in 29:22.4 with David Berry close behind in 80th place just eight seconds behind at 29:30.2.  Josh Watson rounded out the Barton runners with a 106th place finish in 32:14.8. 

The Cougars will wrap up the 2012 season traveling to Ina, Illinois, for the NJCAA Division I Cross Country Nationals on November 19, 2012.
