Barton men compete in 87th Annual Kansas Relays

A limited number of Barton Community College men's track and field team members helped christen Rock Chalk Park this past week at the 87th Annual Kansas Relays in Lawrence, Kansas.  Barton will wrap up its outdoor season Friday, April 25, at the FHSU Open in Hays, Kansas. 

A week after setting a personal best time in capturing the KT Woodman Classic, sophomore David Winters had to settle for second place at the Kansas Relays.  After posting the top qualifying time, Winters took second place to University of Southern California signee Andre De Grasse from Coffeyville Community College crossing the line in 10.22.  

The 4X400m Relay team of Ebu Camara, Shadrack Adu-Gyamfi, Jamal Henson, and Quick Stukes competed for the first time this season finishing in a fifth place time of 3:17.51, just .12 out of fourth.
