Winters captures KT Woodman title, Barton men post multiple bests for second straight week

For the second straight week, multiple members of the Barton Community College men's track and field team exceeded personal bests competing this past weekend at the KT Woodman Classic in Wichita, Kansas. Sophomore David Winters led the Cougars with a first place finish capturing the 100m in a personal best time of 10.16 to rank in the Top-15 in Barton history as eight Cougars hit personal bests in the thirty-seven college event. Quick Stukes was among the best finishing third in the 400m in national qualifying time while Sampson Laari finished third in the 800m. Barton will next make its third trip to Texas this outdoor season as the Cougars will compete at the Michael Johnson Dr. Pepper Classic held in Waco, Texas, on Saturday, April 19.
