Teaming with his brother Jordan, Rideout helped the Cougars to its 10th KJCCC West crown posting a winning 8-2 conference mark completing the season at 11-3-1 overall. The Cougars jumped into the national polls just two weeks into the season, soaring into the top ten two weeks later, reaching as high as 5th, before finishing the year ranked 14th in the final Division I poll.

Academically the Cougars compiled a 3.34 GPA, placing 15th in the NJCAA and fourth best in Region VI. Seven individuals earned NJCAA academic honors, two members attaining a first team 4.0 perfect GPA with two landing on the second team and three on the third team.

The Jayhawk West Champions trailed just 41 out of the 1370 minutes played (2.9%) over the course of the 2019 campaign while ranking second best defensively in the nation. Barton surrendered just seven goals on the year, five coming in two of their 15 games, as the defense kept the opponent scoreless for 929:01 minutes of action in recording a program all-time best nine consecutive shutouts.

Arriving to Barton following a single season at Region VI foe Northwest Kansas Technical College, Rideout was also the assistant helping the Mavericks finished sixth in the conference standings at 2-8-2 and 2-10-2 on the season with six of the losses by a lone goal including an overtime loss and another late loss coming with 3:30 left on the clock to his now inherited Cougars.
