Victor Lucca and Manaka Sato of the Barton Community College men's soccer team was named to the thirteen member All-Region VI team.

Lucca fulfilled big shoes on the offensive side leading the Cougars in almost every offensive category while recording six markers to go along with five assists for an accumulating 17-point total. The freshman forward was named KJCCC Player of the week once following a three goal and three assist weekly performance.

Sato a crucial returner off last season's Region VI/Plains District Championship team, notched his second straight first team selection. The sophomore maintained the midfield on both sides of the pitch producing one net shaker on the offensive end and helping post five clean sheets on the defensive end.

The duo also earned first team All-KCCC West honors following the Cougars' third place 5-5-0 West Division standing and 8-8-0 overall record.
