Barton Sepulveda snags conference weekly soccer award #GoBarton

Ricardo Sepulveda of the Barton Community College men's soccer team picked up the week six KJCCC's Player of the Week honors.

Sepulveda contributed in big ways on both sides of the field for the Cougars this week in a pair of road victories. On Wednesday the sophomore defenseman generated both net shakers, including a 47-yard "SportsCenter Top-10" type of strike to the upper-90 for the eventual 2-1 road win at Garden City then helped lead a stout defensive backline in Saturday's shutout victory at KCK.

The sophomore becomes the second Cougar to earn conference honors joining Victor Lucca's week four selection.

The Cougars dropped their game Wednesday to #6 Cowley College 4-1 and will have a 15-day layoff before returning to the pitch on October 16th as they travel to Dodge City Community College for a 7:00 p.m. kickoff.
