11th ranked Cougars' ride balanced attack in season opening 4-0 victory at Southeast #GoBarton

Fresh off an NJCAA National Tournament appearance just two months ago, the newly revamped Barton Community College men's soccer team rode a balanced attack in Thursday's 4-0 season opening win at Southeast Community College.

Earning its' seventh straight season opening victory, the Cougars will try to make it two straight in Monday's 3:00 p.m. home opener against the reserved squad of Bethany College.

Newcomers Tajay Grant and Vicente Lopez recorded their first collegiate goals in the opening 45-minutes directing Barton to a 2-0 advantage.

The collegiate firsts carried over into the second half for the Cougars as Francesco Esteban and Victor Lucca leaped into the stat sheet with net finders capping the 4-0 victory.
