Second Half goals the difference in 19th ranked Barton Soccer victory over Garden City #GoBarton

The 19th ranked Barton Community College men's soccer team found three goals in the final half of play to win 4-1 over Garden City.

The Cougars improve to 9-2-1 on the season, and 7-2-1 in conference play. Barton will look to spoil 3rd ranked Cowley County's unblemished conference record in the final contest of the regular season on Saturday. Kickoff from Cougar Field is set for 4PM.

Hesron Barry would get the scoring started, when he fielded a long pass from Ricardo Sepulveda and beat out a Garden City defender for the first goal of the contest with 31:58 to go in the first half.

Garden City would score the equalizer with 10:40 left in the half off a rebounded shot that found its way to the back of the net.

The Cougars would take the lead back with 39:07 left in the game, when Gabrielle Privitera would score on a free kick.

Ivan Zuniga would add an insurance goal with 32:42 to go in the contest, assisted by Felipe D'Agostini and Shizu Yohena. D'Agostini would add the final goal ten minutes later, when Pasquale Degaetano would feed a cross into the middle for the goal to put Barton up three with 20:25 to go.

Barton outshot Garden City 13-2 in the contest, and had a 12-2 advantage on the Broncbusters on shots on frame. Dante Curin would make 2 saves in the first half for the Cougars.
