Cougar Soccer advance to 2nd Round of Region VI Playoffs with 5-4 win over Cowley College #GoBarton
The Barton Community College men’s soccer team used an early offensive performance Thursday afternoon at the Cougar Soccer Complex in 1st Round action of the Region VI Playoffs, holding on late in the final minutes with a tremendous defensive effort in a 5-4 win over Cowley College. The Cougars improve to 13-5-1 on the year and advance to the 2nd Round Playoffs while Cowley ends the year at 9-5-2. The Cougars will be back in action as they make the trip to Chanute, KS Sunday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. where they will take on 2nd seeded Neosho County who advanced with a 4-1 victory over 7th seed Northwest Technical College Thursday evening.
