Barton Men’s Soccer lands five on All-Conference Team
The Barton Community College men’s soccer team had six players recently selected to the 2014 Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference All-Conference team. Headlining the group were first team selections sophomore defenseman Dominick Swindler and freshman forward Jiro Barriga Toyama, while freshman midfielder Renan Sousa landed on the second team. Sophomore defenseman Christopher Hogg, the lone returning starter from the 2013 squad, and freshman goalkeeper Austin Kail rounded out the selections earning honorable mention honors.

For the second straight season the Barton men's soccer season came to an end in the Region VI Semifinals as the Cougars finished the 2014 season at 7-6-3 after dropping a hard fought 1-0 contest Sunday at Coffeyville Community College.
