The Barton Community College men's soccer team bounced back from an unexpected home loss last Sunday to win a big conference road game 2-0 Thursday at Cloud County Community College.  Much like the preceding women's game, the Cougars and Thunderbirds went to halftime scoreless.  Barton finally got on the scoreboard midway through the second half as Ebu Camara found Juan Correa to give the Cougars the 1-0 lead with 25:47 to play.  Correa scored his second goal of the game with 9:45 to play by converting a penalty kick and helped secure the victory for the Cougars.  With the win Barton improves to 2-1 in conference play and 3-1-1 overall while Cloud County drops their first conference loss and slips to 1-1 and 2-3-0 overall.  Barton will next play on Sunday as the Cougars travel to Kansas City Kansas Community College in a 3:00 p.m. contest.

Other Notes:
- With last Sunday's loss, Barton dropped from this week's NJCAA rankings but is still receiving votes in the NSCAA poll.
