Barton men’s golf begins conference season with a fourth place finish
The Barton Community College men's golf team began the spring portion of its schedule on Monday jumping right into conference action in the KJCCC’s first meet of the season. Competing at Manhattan’s Colbert Hills Golf Course, the Cougars finished fourth in the eight team standings carding rounds of 326 and 324 finishing a combined 650 in the one day thirty-six hole meet.

Jakkapat Horsangchai led the Cougars with rounds of 76 and 78 finishing four strokes from the top spot taking fourth place with a +10 154. Fellow freshman Seokunh Kang rebounded from an opening 83 round firing a 77 to climb into a twelfth place time at 160.
Two Cougars finished just outside the top twenty tying for twenty-first place. Natchapol "Putter" Srinoon carded rounds of 83 and 85 while Jared Oelke put together twin rounds of 84 to match Srinoon's 168 total.
Another duo finished in a deadlock at the thirty-third spot as Blake Huxman's consistent 90 rounds were matched by Andrew Iverson's 89 and 91 rounds.
