Barton men’s golf keeps streak intact with second place finish at Barton Invitational, Srinoon wins second title of fall season

The Barton Community College men's golf team finished second today in their own 36-hole Barton Invitational held at StoneRidge Golf Club. Shooting a team score under 300 for the sixth consecutive round, the No. 24 ranked Cougars posted rounds of 292 and 297 to finish at 589, eleven strokes behind Dodge City Community College’s 578 as the No. 11 Conquistadors followed their opening 283 round with a 295. Natchapol “Putter” Srinoon took first place with rounds of 70-68 for a 138 to win by four strokes over teammate Jakkapat Horsangchai and Dodge City’s Kantapong Chaisiriwichian. The Invitational completed Barton’s fall season as the Cougars took a first place and three second place finishes in the four meet fall season. Barton will begin the spring season on March 21, 2016, in the KJCCC Meet No. 1 held in Manhattan, Kansas. Complete results posted in the next couple of days.
