Lambeth's 5th place finish highlights Barton men's bowling at Bronco Open #GoBarton

The Barton Community College men's bowling team turned in their best performance of the season this past weekend bringing home a fourth-place finish at the Bronco Open held at the Pastime Lanes in Hastings, NE.

Carter Lambeth reached the 200-mark in four of his six games tossed with an average 10-frame score 206.3 to direct the Cougars individually with a fifth place 1,238 six game total in the field of 98 participants. Joining Lambeth with a top-20 finish was Torrey Lindsay's 17th place 1,160 pin count as the freshman posted the squads top individual game score of 224 while hitting the 200-mark in three of his six games.

Kamron Stude steered the 4th place junior varsity five pack with a 25th best count of 1,110 pins and highest single game score of 222.

Playing six individual and 16 baker games over the weekend, Barton compiled the fourth best 8,420 pin mark. Topping the 10-team tournament field was Ottawa University's 9,374 pin destruction, edging out host Hastings College's runner-up 9,193 tally.

The Cougars will wrap-up the fall semester at the SWIBC-III and SWIBC IV held Saturday and Sunday at the City View Lanes in Fort Worth, TX.
