Hill leads Barton Bowling at Ottawa
The Barton Community College bowling teams made the trip east Friday taking on Ottawa University.
Sophomore Tracey Hill paced the 24-participant men's field blasting down a tournament high 706 pins averaging a score of 235 per-three games. Concluding a runner-up finish falling just eight pins back of Hill was Great Bend, KS native Jacob Holden tallying 698 pins.
Jordan Black posted a fifth place appearance tying a career game high score of 279 while finishing with a 655 total tally.
On the women's side Taylor Cessna led five Cougars finishing 13th in the 21 participant field. The sophomore tallied a three round score of 545 averaging a 181 score per 10 frames.
Angelina Leeper (506), Erin Mayfield (499), Alex Newell (480) and Alexis Leon (445) rounded out the 21-participant field.
Barton's next action comes Saturday and Sunday at the Jayhawk Challenge held in Lawrence, KS.
