A special reunion, Barton Athletics welcomes back the 2024 National Champions in ring ceremony #GoBarton
Smiles were all-around Saturday evening in the Barton Gym welcoming back all members of the 2023-24 Barton Men's Basketball team in a special celebration including championship ring presentations for their season's accomplishments.
The ceremony introduced members of the Barton Athletic administrative staff, the "Voice of the Cougars" Cole Reif, coaching staff, and the return of each member from the squad before receiving commemorative rings.
The festive reunion amongst family and supporters celebrated a historic season with ring distribution signifying the season's trifecta of accomplishments.
Winning the KJCCC outright during the regular season, the Cougars rolled to the Region VI/Plains District title before capping the run with the 2024 NJCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship crown completing the year 36-1 in tying the most wins in program history following its 88-73 victory over Triton College for the program's first NJCAA Division I National Championship and the College's 60th overall.
