Kevin Kuteyi scored ten points with eight coming in the first half to spark a late run to cut the Cougar deficit to six.

Shomari Triggs was the lone Grizzly in double-figures scoring twenty-one while also leading Butler with three assists. Trent Richardson led rebounding with eight boards and just missed double-figures with nine points.
