Key named Jayhawk Conference men’s basketball player of the week
Barton Community College men’s basketball player Algie Key has been named the KJCCC Verizon Wireless Player of the Week. The sophomore from Decatur, Georgia, put together three solid games for No. 9 ranked Barton Community College averaging nineteen points and over eight rebounds. Included in his week’s performance was helping to lead the Cougars to a conference opening 79-66 win at pre-season conference favorite Seward County and snapping a six-game losing streak to the Saints.
