Parris, Boyd visit Barton

Parris, Boyd visit Barton
A pair of recruits from New York will be on the Barton campus this weekend, making an official visit for the men's basketball program. Javon Parris and Isaiah Boyd will be making an official to the campus of Barton.

Parris, a Brooklyn native, is currently at the College of Charleston looking to transfer and will be a sophomore next season. Before attending Charleston, the 6-2 guard played for Our Savior New American Prep in Centerach, New York where he averaged 14.5 points a game to go with 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The team went 19-10 that season.

Boyd is a highly recruiting 6-5 wing set to graduate from Canarsie High School in New York this spring. He helped his team to the gold medal of the Empire State games last summer, scoring 21 points in the contest that put his New York City team into the finals.

The pair will be on campus this weekend as they look for the right school to play basketball next season.
