While playing for Junction City High School, Aaron was a two year starter and two year letter winner. During his senior campaign, he averaged 9 points, 2 assists, and 2 rebounds per game. He shot 43 percent from the floor and 45 percent from beyond the three-point line. As a junior, Aaron tallied 8 points per contest. Aaron also earned an I-70 2nd Team All League Selection.
