Barton County Community College men's basketball recruit Justin Rose was impressive during the 2002 Kansas Basketball Coaches Association All Star game in Topeka last week.
The Junction City graduate, who will be a freshman on this year's Cougars team, paced the winning North squad with 20 points as the North knocked off the South 112-99.
In addition to his 20-point effort, the guard collected eight rebounds as well as the North exploded for 65 second-half points behind the play of Rose.
The Cougars will kick off their 2002-03 season on Halloween when they travel to West Plains, Mo. The Cougars will take on Lee College at 5 p.m. in the Ozark Medical Center Tipoff Classic hosted by Southwest Missouri State-West Plains.
