Freshman Season at Barton County

McClung was the starting point guard all but one game as a freshman for the Cougars. Led the Cougars at just under four assists per contest and scored eight points a game as well. His .381 (32-84) 3-point percentage was tops for the Cougars. Scored a career-high 19 points in the first round of Regon VI play against Neosho County. Dished out 9 assists against Fort Scott at the Jayhawk Shoot Out.

McClung, a two-year starter for Lawrence North, averaged 18 points, 3 rebounds, and 5 assists per game as a senior. Scored 12 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists per contest during junior season. Contributed 8 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists as a sophomore. Added 5 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists per contest as a freshman. Help lead Lawrence North to the MIC conference and Marion county championships. Named to the Super Team of Indianapolis and top 20 of the state of Indiana.
