Barton eSports enters final week of the regular season on six-week winning streak #GoBarton

The Barton Community College eSports program spent their spring break producing their fifth and sixth straight winning weeks while improving their playoff positioning as the postseason heats up.

As the season enters its' final week of the regular season the Cougars sit at 24-12 as a squad while coming off a 7-2 performance.

Rocket League kick started the first of the seven victories cruising to a perfect 3-0 sweep over Bismarck State College moving back over the .500 mark at 3-2 on the season.

Sustaining its' perfect record on Tuesday's, the Rainbow 6 Siege group stayed unblemished in its' lone game of the week dispatching rival Hutchinson Community College in straight games 2-0. The squad of five will look to close out its' second straight perfect semester with a pair of games against Johnston Community College and a makeup meeting against North Dakota State College of Science before looking to defend their Fall National Championship.

Returning to the field following his first defeat of the season, Madden 23 gamer Caden Nokleby responded back with a quick 2-0 blasting over Northeast State Community College. The freshman will look to build on the momentum heading into the final week with a pair of meetings against Dawson Community College and North Central Missouri College.

In Wednesday's Super Smash Brothers tilts, Barton rode Frank Wilkens pair of 3-0 results over Ocean County College and Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College while teammate Harley Headley posted split results defeating Ocean County College before falling to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.

Concluding the two weeks of action was the Overwatch 2 group responding with a 3-0 route over Peninsula after falling in the prior week 3-1 to Iowa Central Community College.

The Cougars will conclude the seven-week regular season with a 10-slate of matchups that get underway Monday (March 27th) with the postseason scheduled to get underway in two weeks.
