Four teams remain perfect as playoff push ramps up for Barton eSports #GoBarton

As the push for the postseason heats up, the Barton Community College eSports squad remains in contention in many different games with four weeks remaining in the regular season.

Conducting weeks of 6-4, 7-4 and 5-5 over the past three weeks, the Cougars squad sits at 34-18 overall with 10 more games on the docket in week six action scheduled to get underway Monday.

Carrying Barton over the past three weeks has been the defending National Champion Rainbow 6 Siege squad, defending Madden 22 National Champion Davon Morris and teammate Chance Costello, National Runner-Up Call of Duty Cold War Gunfight 2v2 players Kindric Castro and Adam Hardin along with NBA2K individuals Anthony Twiggs and Kaleb Lininger posting perfect records.

The five pack of R6 gamers remain perfect on the campaign stretching their perfect matches' streak to 4-0 with a week four victory over Gogebic Community College and fifth week tromping over Marion Military Institute. Fresh off a week five bye and already having a postseason spot secured, the group will return to the keyboards Tuesday night against Louisberg College.

In Madden 22, Morris and Costello continued their flawless seasons sweeping all three of their contests. Morris generating sweeps over Louisberg College, Garden City Community College and Fort Scott Community College while Costello notched sweeping 2-0 victories over Utah State University Eastern, Navarro College and North Central Community College. The pair will look to keep the trend going and postseason pushes on Tuesday in week six action with Morris facing Dawson Community College with Costello matching up with Kingsborough Community College.

Turning in a unblemished regular season and perfect map record in the fall, Call of Duty Gunfight duos of Kindric and Hardin sustained the trend improving to 5-0 overall matching their perfect 3-0 map streak with victories against Community College of Beaver County, Hutchinson Community College and Heartland Community College. The pair will look to make it 6-for-6 on Thursday taking on Herkimer College.

On the hardwood in NBA2K Twiggs and Lininger rode perfect marks. Twiggs sustained his perfect season and hopes of a top seed in the playoffs earning a trio of 2-0 routes over Trinity Valley Community College, Bryant & Stratton College (VA) and Western Technical College. The sophomore looks to carry his streak into Friday's showdown taking on Gogebic Community College. Lininger patched together a pair of victories against Hudson Valley Community College and Dawson Community College after receiving a week three bye moving to 3-1 and keeping his postseason hopes alive.

Other Individual results saw Joshua Neal posting a 1-2 record in NBA2K moving to 3-2 on the season with Madden 22 competitor Caden Nokleby having his perfect record slip away falling in all three of his contests dipping to 2-3 overall.

Additional the Rocket League group now 2-3 mended a 1-2 mark, while the 1-4 Call of Duty Vanguard 4v4 and 0-5 Valorant squads dropped all three of their results.
