Barton eSports gamers Ashton Ensley and Davon Morris have been named the week 16 "Barton Sports Weekly Athletic Award Honors" sponsored by Great Bend's Identifications.

Ashton Ensley helped pace four other Cougars to the programs first NJCAAE National Championship in Rainbow Six Siege. Ensley, Will Spires, Eli Friedli, Jared McFadden, and Joel DuBose proved the stage was not too big directing Barton to a 2-0 sweep over Rockland Community College. Ensley and the Barton four pack rolled off ten straight victorites to the title finishing 10-1.

Davon Morris delivered the second title of the night in Madden 21 in a thrilling 3-2 (21-20, 24-30 OT, 14-10, 29-30 and 19-13) victory over Carl Albert State College completing the 12-0 perfect season and concluding the campaign with a 25-2 record in all games throughout the fall.

The Barton eSports squad will have the holiday break off before returning for the spring portion of the season which kicks off the first week in February.
