Morris remains perfect; Rainbow 6 Siege makes it two straight highlighting week three #GoBarton

The Barton Community College eSports squad experienced the highs and lows of competition in week three action.

The Cougars' suffered their first losing week of the season with a 4-7 mark over the 11-match week. Now 31-games into the season, Barton currently holds an 18-13 mark with 11-matches on tap for the Cougars in week four.

Dropping the opening two matches on Monday, the Rainbow 6 Siege gamers secured Barton's first victory of the week making quick work of Southside Virginia Community College 2-0, improving their season mark to 2-1.

Sophomore Davon Morris sustained his stellar start to the season in Madden 21 with a quick 2-0 dispatching over Eastern Arizona College improving his record to 3-0 for the second straight year. Teammate Chance Costello suffered his first defeat of the season dropping both contests to unbeaten Bryant and Stratton (VA).

The Cougars' next victory of the week unfortunately came with a loss as Call of Duty Cold War Gunfight duos squared up with one another with Kindric Castro and Adam Hardin earning the bragging rights over Trent Keffer and Bryce Hopkins in a 3-0 result.

Barton's final victory of the week came as the Overwatch clan made it two straight since it's week one loss annihilating Snow College in three straight.

On the team side Call of Duty Cold War 4's and Rocket League dropped their season records to 1-2 on the season as they suffered 3-0 defeats to the University of South Carolina – Sumter and Wake Tech Community College.

In Super Smash Brothers, Nicholas Kohman and Keffer had rough battles both dropping their matches on the week. Kohman suffered his first loss of the year in a hard fought 3-2 battle while Keffer moved to 1-2 on the year falling to Finger Lakes Community College 3-1.

The lone other individual result saw Joshua Neal dropping his first contest of the season in NBA2K falling 2-0 to Hutchinson Community College,
