Brent Biggs returns for his 6th year with Barton where he started his collegiate career.  Biggs played for the Cougars in 2005 and 2006 and came back to Barton beginning work in the 2008-09 season as assistant coach.

Biggs was a 1st team all Jayhawk West selection his sophomore year at Barton as a 2nd baseman. That season he hit .300 as well as fielded .958. His freshman season, Biggs was an honorable mention selection to the All West team. That season he hit .335 fielded .962 for the season. During his 2 seasons at Barton, Biggs started 105 of 108 games.

From there he went on to Fort Hays State, where he again was recognized by the conference for his play. His senior season he led the Tigers in runs scored with 58 as well as posting a .975 fielding percentage as he was named honorable mention All MIAA.

Biggs also played summer baseball, helping the Park City Cowboys to a 7th place finish in the NBC World Series during his collegiate playing days. He also earned a Rawlings Gold Glove for his play at 2nd base with the Bellingham Bells of the West Coast Collegiate Baseball League.

Prior to returning to Barton, Biggs helped the Rochester Honkers of the Northwoods League coaching the hitting and infield where he produced 3 infielders to the NWL All-Star Team in the summer of 2008.
