The 6th ranked Barton Community College baseball team secured two spots on the Region VI/Plains District All-Tournament team with first baseman Dryden Howse and utility Quinton Robertson, earning honors for their tournament performances.

Howse went 6-for-16 from the plate supporting a .375 batting average in four games and legged out four extra base hits for the tournament. The sophomore paced the Cougars with two home runs and runs produced driving in five of Barton's 28 runs scored.

Robertson recorded a team best average of .571 finishing 8-for-14 from the dish, scoring six runs and driving in three. The switch hitter, manufactured a team best 1.071 slugging percentage fabricating five extra base hits behind a home run and four doubles.

The Cougars concluded the 2023 campaign as the Jayhawk West Champions posting the program's best single season record of 51-10 and were one of four teams left before bowing out to Kansas City Kanas Community College 8-2 in the Region VI/Plains District Tournament.
