Barton Baseball team celebrates win over Butler CC

The Barton Community College baseball team will begin its Region VI title defense on the road Thursday as the Cougars travel to Kansas City Kansas Community College for a best-of-three series opening round playoff matchup.

A 2:00 p.m. first pitch is slated for each of the three potential consecutive dates with possibility of utilizing Friday's action in shifting to a pair of nine inning contests.

All games will be carried on area local and web radio 107.9FM with Doug Bender on the call, as well as, in-game updates provided on the "BartonSports" Twitter feed. Coverage links, including video stream provided by Blue Devil Athletics, can be found at www.BartonSports.com.
