Freshman Gile earns conference honors

Barton  freshman Aaron Gile was recently named to the KJCCC All-Jayhawk West honorable mention baseball team.  Gile was the lone Cougar to make the all-conference team as Barton finished 15-34 on the season.

Playing third base and batting in the heart of the lineup, Gile led Barton in three major offensive categories.  The Lawrence, Kansas, native led the team in batting .390 on the season and .479 on-base percentage with a .627 slugging percentage by pounding out 46 hits including 5 triples and 12 doubles.
