Marc was a catcher at Tulsa Hale High School where he lettered and started all 4 years. He batted an even .400 with 3 homers and knocked in 37 runs as a senior. He also stole 10 bases on 11 attempts. He batted in another 27 runs as a junior with a .310 average, along with 15 stolen bases on 16 attempts. Marc earned All Conference honors all 4 years at Tulsa Hale, along with the Catcher of the Year award and All State honors as a senior.
